From the Seattle, WA estate of a diplomat's wife, who'd acquired her Yixing collection in the 1930s and 40s.

Made of silk, decorated with intricately embroidered panels with flower baskets, butterflies and Buddhist symbols. Late 19th early 20th century blue satin silk woman’s wide sleeved upper garment (ao/shan). Excellent condition (appears to have never been worn) with glass buttons and greenish patterned lining. All hand sewn upper width: 118cm46in (sleeve end and to sleeve end), mid width 72cm/28in height 108cm/42in (top of collar to bottom)

Large wooden sculpture of an Arhat, a disciple of Buddha. An impressive and well carved piece with a very nice expression and with the original polychrome. H. 68 cm. Condition: age cracks, wear to the painting, some damage to the fingers, the right shoe has been replaced. Chinese work, 19th century.

A pair of very high-quality Chinese agate ShiShi Lions on rosewood stands. This pair is carved from the same agate stone boulder having blue/grey color tones with soft hints of tans and an impressive surface polish. The carved details are performed with great skill showing wonderful curling hair along with exacting facial features as well as tail and feet accents. They are both displayed on their original carved and pierced open worked rosewood stands remaining in excellent condition...

A bowl, made in imitation of late Qing Imperial style, with two roundels - one depicting a five clawed Dragon and the other a Phoenix - both separated by two iron red bats and above stylized breaking waves. The base carries what is probably the factory mark which, in Pinyin, reads "Jiu Jiang Hui Kang Chu Pin". This item was made in China in the 1940s during the late Republic period.
