Beautifully carved Chinese seated buddha, made of wood with red and gilt lacquer, wonderful details and elegant expression, Ming Dynasty. Size: 22 1/2" high x 14 1/2" wide x 11 1/2" deep.

Pair of Chinese Export saucer plates, Yongzheng or early Qianlong period, first part of the 18th century. Scalloped rims and decoration in under-glaze blue of flowers and seascapes in panels. The back of both with a chocolate-brown, "Batavian" glaze. Diameter "4½/ 11,5 cm. Condition: firing crack and rim frits to one plate, the other with a minimal nick to foot rim.

Pair of Chinese Export tea bowls, Qianlong (1736-1795). Decoration of iron red borders and Famille Rose flower garlands. Diameter "3¼/ 8 cm, height "1¾/ 4,5 cm. Condition: one hairline to each as seen on photos, otherwise fine.

Exceptional copper vase with bronze coiled QILONG Dragon and stylized base. 18-19th Century China. This most attractive Dragon is removable, has a stylized humanoid face, a fancy tail and the head has scales on top. Good condition, Size: H. 31 cm x 15 cm base. An extremely rare pair of original 18th century elm wood lacquered folding chairs. All the parts are original including the original lacquer. Only replacements were the hardware in the folding joints as the originals had rusted out. The back panel has an open- work floral design with a cloud design on the upper and lower panels. A rare, large and beautifully carved scholar's item made of huanghuali and carved with flower vases and a censer as the center piece, with the original hardware.The outer frame could be huanghuali or huali. It is unusual to find these wall decorations in huanghuali. Size: L. 86cm. W. 35cm Age: Late Ming, early Ching piece. Condition: No repairs. A white jade of two frolicking animals "kissing" muzzle-to-muzzle. The smaller animal has a little curly tail while the larger one has a long tail going up against its back with a curl at the tip. The style in which their legs are carved gives this piece a feeling of playful activity. Can be worn as a pendant. A very rare and unusual root brush pot that is highly prized by the Qing Scholars. This is a very special type of root know in Chinese as "JinJinan" The pot has all the natural openings from the root. Age: Qing, early 18 century. Size: H. 29.3 cm. Diameter at the base. 19cm. From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a very interesting late 18th century export porcelain plate, depicting an unusual subject matter of a gondolier in what is either an Italian canal in Venice, or a Dutch canal in Amsterdam. The plate is executed in a good underglaze blue with an unidentified edifice in the foreground, and a border of floral motifs...

From our Chinese Monochrome Collection, a fine blanc de chine (dehua) porcelain figure of a seated dignitary, Kangxi Period (1662-1722), seated on a low plinth and crisply modeled with an elaborate dragon badge to chest, a ruyi scepter in his left hand, and a pensive downward gaze. Holes under the ears and around the mouth were originally for placement of animal hair to form the beard...

From our Shipwreck Porcelain Collection, a good teacup and saucer ex-Sotheby's, from the Ca Mau Cargo, Yongzheng Period (1723-1735), executed in the "Tu Hai" pattern in underglaze blue.

This particular teacup and saucer is a very good example that somehow managed to survive over two centuries under the sea, essentially unscathed...

From our Shipwreck Porcelain Collection, a good blue and white teacup and saucer in the "Batavian Bamboo Pattern," ex-Christie's, from the so-called "Nanking Cargo," which is the term applied to the porcelain recovered from the wreck of the Geldermalsen that sank on January 3rd, 1752. The Geldermalsen was a cargo ship belonging to the Dutch East India Company that struck a reef on its way back from Canton China, and sank off the coast of Indonesia in the Linnga archipelago...
