Chinese Blanc de Chine Quan Yin seated on a resting elephant. Quan Yin, goddess of great compassion, is holding 2 lotus flowers, one of which is broken symbolizing a broken spirit. She is holding both pieces of the stem in her hand. The lotus symbolizes purity, spiritual enlightenment, and in this case, new beginnings or rebirth. Excellent detailing and in excellent condition, it dates end of 2nd quarter 20th century. Measures 7.5ʺ wide × 4.5ʺ deep × 12ʺ high.

Carved hardwood box. The wood appears to be Huang-Hualy. The decoration is sculpted in relief with a peach tree in a stylized vase, the tree bears foliage and 5 peaches. The stylized vase is composed of a filiform dragon whose head can be seen from the front. The box opens with a lid pierced with 2 holes to receive a retaining wire, so you could open the lid by making it sink without losing it. Chinese work. We do not know what the use of such boxes was...

Large Chinese Song Dynasty Painted Pottery Tile of a Warrior

This rare and unusual pottery tile depicts an armoured warrior. It was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is made from a grey pottery that has been "cold painted" in a base coat of white pigment on top of which have been applied various different coloured pigments. This tile depicts a formidable warrior. Note the thick-set facial features, also the headgear and the decorative armour he wears...

A Fine Chinese Celadon Jade Figure/Zodiac Dragon-late 19th/early 20th century. China. A celadon jade with a white inclusion jade Belt Hook/Cholong figure carved with a belt hook attached a long olive color tassels. It is in good condition, its measurements: 10 cm long 2cm width, 2.5cm high. and overall 35cm long.

Small tripod miniature incense burner of simple form in cast bronze. The two handles are unusually very thin. Below we can see the 6 characters of the reign of Xuande of the Ming Dynasty. The bronze is old, the beautiful patina attests to it. However, it is difficult to date it exactly. Usually the bronzes bearing the mark of Xuande are from the 17th century. A wooden base and lid were added later, probably in the 19th century...

18th Century Chinese Blanc De Chine Dehua Scholar Fu Lion Seal

It is 2.36 inches (6 cm) tall by 1.38 inches (3.5 cm) wide measured without stand. It is 89.7 gram.

It has firing holes, firing cracks, small and flea bite chips, skip glazes, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

An antique 18th century Chinese Bronze Buddha seated in the varda or granting of Boons mudra. 

This lovely Buddha is seated in the lotus or Padmasana position, with each foot placed on the opposite thigh. His robes cascade fluidly from his left shoulder.  His robe is draped to leave the right shoulder bare, and a portion of the garment that covers the left wrist falls behind the figure...

Porcelain vase in the shape of a gourd with Imari decor. The vase is mounted on a lathe. It is decorated in the Imari style in blue, red and gold with flowers on a background with stylized geometric cracks in cobalt blue inspired by frost. The base is without glassure. The collar seems a little short but it is not cut because the edge is covered with enamel. Height 22cm. There is a small chip and a slight 1cm crack that can be seen in the enlarged photo...
