The scene is treated in the Chinese style and it is very likely that the draftsman was Chinese, however, the engraving is French and dates from the 18th century. Many details, beautiful print. A very rare and superb hand made genuine QING DYNASTY SILVER BOWL, with extensive open carving work and depicting the Dragons chasing the flaming Pearl. The base is stamped by a Chinese Hallmark: "SS, followed by a Chinese Character and 90, SUN SHING" as shown in one of the photographs, ca. 1900. Weight: 199 gr. excluding the inset glass bowl. Size: height 7.6 cm. x 13.5 cm. diameter. This silver bowl also has a later added glass inset bowl, which can be removed for easy cleaning!

Chinese miniature porcelain tea caddy with gold decoration. All the gold painting is intact and shows no wear which is pretty amazing. Dates mid to late 1700's, it is a fantastic little piece for the collector. In excellent condition, that is as originally made, the only imperfections are little pin pricks in the firing which is normal. This had a cork stopper which is inside the caddy. Measures 3" high x 2" wide x 1/2". Dates 2nd half 1700's.

Superb museum quality carved Chinese wood brise fan with deeply worked guard sticks and finely done inner sticks carved equally to both sides of lovely scenes. Larger than most brise fans, it also still has its original hand carved presentation box fitted in silk. Made in Canton, China for the export market, the fan and box dates circa 1870-1880. Condition is wonderful to both and a must have for the collector. Fan length 9.5" x fully opened 16.5" with case being 12.5" long x 2.5" x 2.5"

Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. White hard porcelain, yellow enameled spouts and legs, black enamel details. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glaze, however the unglazed rock which is covered with a layer of brown lacquer. I don't know of any other other same parakeet listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty.Probably Chinese work from the Qing period. Good condition, lacquer worn in places...

Old Chinese Export Bovine Water Buffalo Bone Carved Mahjong Complete Set with Animal Jokers Tiles in Wood Box

The box is 3.4 inches (8.7 cm) tall by 7.8 inches (20 cm) long and 5.55 inches (14.1 cm) wide. Each tile is 0.5 inch thick (1.2 cm) by 1.2 inches (3 cm) in length and 0.84 inch (2.1 cm) wide. It is 4.1 lb.
