Chinese guilt bronze buddha, 20th century. A buddha with his hands in mudra, the gesture for meditation. The buddha is seated on a lotus blossom blooming out of another lotus blossom, atop a hexagonal base. It measures 14" tall, 5" wide at base.

Very nice and large gilt Chinese bronze Buddha, made in the late 19th century, 19'' height and 8,9 kg heavy. Marked 'Da Ming Yong Le Nian Shi'.

The statue is in good antique condition with no repairs.

Chinese Han Dynasty (206 B.C.- A.D. 220) belt hook. Made of bronze and gilded over entire surface. This belt hook has two Taotie masks, one on either side. The end of the hook itself is shaped in the form of a tiny chimera. Comes with stand.

Antique Chinese tripod censer that comes with a tall, circular stand. The lid of the censer has a playful fu dog as a finial. The front and back of the censer features a cylindrical panel with flora and fauna upon a textured background, and the handles on each side appear as large fu dog faces. Late 19th century circa 1890. 16th Century Chinese Ming Bronze Quan Yin Buddha

It is 9.2 inches (23.3 cm) tall measured with stand, 7.8 inches (20 cm) tall measured without stand by 5 inches (12.8 cm) wide. It is 2.8 Lb.

It is missing part of the crown, small firing holes, chips at the base, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

DESCRIPTION: Before the availability of electricity and modern irons, this simple but useful implement was produced to iron clothes. The long wood handle is attached to a large cast iron bowl designed to hold hot coals. The bowl has been cast with designs on its outer surface and is shaped with one side flared to protect the worker’s hand. After the bowl absorbed sufficient heat from the coals, it was pressed onto the garment using the flat bottom surface to smooth out wrinkles...

DESCRIPTION: Silver needle cases first appeared in China in the 1700's. Elaborate embroidery has a long tradition in China, and young girls began intensive training in needlework skills by age seven. Given the importance of embroidery in her life, a silver needle case was often presented to a girl as part of her dowry.

A rare and very finely caste heavy bronze (copper tin alloy) incense burner in the form of a playful crouching 'lion'. This item was made in Ming dynasty China probably during the 16th or early 17th Century. Condition: the cover is missing; otherwise very good. Max length 35 cm.(13.75 inches), max height 18.5 cm.(7.25 inches). Weight circa 6.7 kilos (14lbs 12 oz).
