Bronze pagoda cast in 3 parts. The bronze is very old, it has an excellent patina which makes me think it is from the Ming period or earlier. The casting is rustic, it has some defects. Probably a very old provincial work.The 4 sides of the pagoda are open with 4 doors with 2 bronze panels, opening and closing as needed. This makes a total of 8 panels for the 4 doors. 2 doors lead to 2 staircases with balusters...

A very late Qing Dynasty bronze bowl with deeply carved images of warriors, waves, a fish, a snail, and a shell. An intricate key fret border finishes off this Ming Dynasty style bowl. It is heavy and dates early 20th century, circa 1910. Measures 10 inches in diameter by 4.5 inches high.

Antique Chinese cast bronze and hand-chiseled incense burner censer, signed with a seal mark in zhuanshu scripts, 18th -19th century, Qing dynasty.

The body of the censer is in the form of an elegant bombé vessel set with twin handles and four legs in the form of bamboo branches.

Two sides are decorated with rectangular panels hand-chiseled in a low relief on a punched background; one panel with a horned deer next to a tree, the other panel with a bird and a tree...

Rare and endearing figure of a young boy disciple of Quanyin (the Goddess of Compassion) wearing a garment etched with a lotus flower - the symbol of Buddhism. He is often depicted near Quanyin with his hands in reverential prayer. The bronze is heavily cast and has wires imbedded underneath the pedestal, perhaps for attaching to a group of figures. The padlock is made of thick bronze, solid construction, the partitions are thick. There is a secret system to clear the keyhole which is hidden. You can see in the photos the explanation of the system. The bronze has an excellent centuries-old patina and the object is discreetly decorated with chiselling at the ends. The rivets are in the shape of flowers. This padlock is simple but of good quality. The key is lost, but this type of key is technically easy to make. Dimensions: 150x55mm...

The vase is in yellow bronze. It appears to have been taken down with a hammer because it has thin walls, however it may have been cast. It is a very simple design object but of excellent quality, the proportions are perfect, the finishes are very careful. Artisans capable of producing a bronze of this fine quality would have been entirely capable of producing such a fine casting...

A hexagonal open-work cast bronze incense stick or utensils holder with two dragon handles, standing on three feet. The sides showing four high-relief immortals and two lotus flowers, the base with lattice pattern. Condition: traces of age. Dimension: height: c. 16.3 cm, c. 14.8 cm wide.
