Beautiful 19th Century Chinese wooden vanity mirror finely inlaid with Mother of Pearl. The mirror itself can be separately adjusted by tilting back and forth and the position of the 2 feet can also be adjusted by rotating. Condition good. Size: H. 16" (41 cm.) x W. 6" (20 cm.)

The rectangular top is mounted over a door that opens to an interior cabinet with three shelves. A delightful piece for the bedroom or country/cottage interior, 20th C. A vintage Chinese coffer altar cabinet in the Ming style made entirely of Huanghuali wood including the back and the interior shelves. All original brass square plate and loop handles with a pair of double hinged doors and 3 side by side drawers above. With classic spandrels and apron for the feet. The maker spared no expense using the finest quality materials and joinery craftsmanship in producing this piece.

An unusual small sized Jumu (chinese elm) hardwood Chinese altar cabinet with hand forged brass pulls and hardware. Side panels with hand carved reticulated flowers, long underside panel carved with similar floral motif, large open interior space for storage, beautiful wood grain. Overall in excellent original condition with stunning light natural finish.

Antique Chinese pair of square hardwood tables. Each table is inset with a large square porcelain panel which sits into the top and is removable. The panels are glazed with scrolling vines and flowers with bats in the corners on a greenish blue ground. Each table has a solid shelf and swirling aprons.

Two Chinese carved openwork hardwood boxes; the rectangular forms each with hinged covers: one with scene of deer, the other with qilin, each framed with openwork foliate border; and each with three covered compartments to interior; with iron lockplates and wire handles; L: 14 1/8" (each approx.)

Nice old Tibetan or Baotou saddle carpet, with floral medallions and scroll pattern. There are some repairs and restorations which I have highlighted in enlargement two. Early 20th century, the colors are still vibrant with some abrash but none of the garish aniline dyes used later in the 50s and 60s. L: 120cm/47.2in ad W: 60cm/23.6in.

Large antique Chinese cabinet in two stacking sections, made of a beautiful honey color hardwood, cabinet doors on front are lacquered black and have stone inlaid scenes of children playing, the sides have lacquer scenes of mountains. The interior of the bottom section has a shelf with two small drawers. Republic Period. Size: 96" (8ft) high x 47" wide x 21 1/2" deep.
