This moulded and "heavily-potted" pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and has been excavated from Shanxi province in the northern region of China... A large and impressive Chinese flambe-glazed porcelain moon flask, with garlic neck and ruyi head handles, covered in a thick semi translucent red and light blue flambe glaze which finishes neatly at the foot. The base with an incised Qianlong six-character seal mark underneath a mottled brown translucent glaze.
Qing dynasty. Height 40 cms.

On Hold Featuring a globular body with a short waisted neck that flares out to a flanged rim which is slightly depressed in the center with two loop handles on opposite sides of its shoulders. The vessel is covered overall in an olive green yue-type celadon glaze, except for its base, exposing its grey stoneware clay.
Measurements: Height 10.5”inches.
Condition: Some glaze loss but overall in excellent condition. Free from any restorations.
