A rare well potted jar with fine porcelain body and very well painted, in under glaze blue, depicting two flying phoenix amongst scrolling foliage. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was made later, in the 19th Century, probably circa 1800-1850 during the reign of either the Jiaqing or the Daoguang emperor. This is one of the most well painted Kangxi "flower basket" plates I've seen, in an excellent shade of Kangxi cobalt blue. Please compare with a similar "flower basket" plate in the British Museum (Franks.221).

Large Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period hexagonal form Yixing pottery tea caddy or canister. The flat panels are decorated with four moulded vertical stylized "dan" (tranquility) characters flanked by two bats each, symbolizing happiness and joy. The curved shoulder is encircled with small, impressed flowers. The bottom corners extend onto short, flat feet along the edge of the base. The lid is metal. 8” high x about 6” diameter. 18th century. Very good overall condition...

Four Chinese Ming dynasty green and amber lead-glazed pottery funerary figures with separately moulded removable heads, each standing on a hexagonal waisted plinth. The figures are accented with “cold painted” (unfired) red, white, and black pigments on the unglazed surfaces. The taller personal attendants are dressed in layered robes with long sleeves.
