Tongzhi-Guangxu Period, Qing Dynasty Porcelain with overglaze famille rose enamels H: 36 cm Lamp hole professionally filled in to bottom, some fritting to rim. Visible outer body perfect. From a Greenwich, CT estate This vase is lavishly painted with a young wife and nine sons in a garden, and flanked with landscape scenes, dragons in relief, and faux cloths... Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period cylindrical form rouleau vase with a narrow columnar neck and cupped rim, decorated overall in gilt with cranes flying among stylized lucky clouds set against a powder blue ground. A band of lappets extends around the circumference of the base. The angled shoulder is encircled by a band of bats and scrolling foliage. Two underglaze blue concentric circles are on the white porcelain base. The vase stands 14 1/4” high and dates from the late 19th century...
Chinese late Qing dynasty export porcelain jardinière, or planter, decorated around the circumference in famille rose enamels with an assortment of precious objects set against a white ground. A ruyi head border encircles the exterior rim and a geometric band is above the foot. The canted rim is decorated in an orange-red band. Surface wear suggest that this dish had once been gilt-decorated with a dragon among clouds. The roughly written mark is typical for non-official wares of this period.

Porcelain with overglaze famille rose enamels D: 26 cm / 10.2 in Two small rim chips filled in, otherwise perfect From a Midwest collection A Guangxu mark and period plate, decorated with orchids in famille rose enamels, and a ruyi medallion border. While late Qing famille rose wares tend to be more gaudy and flashy, this particular displays surprising restraint in its design. Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain bowl, covered on the exterior in a dense mille fleurs pattern set against a gold background. The base holds an apocryphal six-character iron red “Great Qing Qianlong Year Made” mark. Late 19th century. 4 7/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the overglaze gilt background. This bowl is from a Tucson, Arizona collection.
