Large Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) stoneware jar with two loop handles incised with a leaf pattern. Above each handle is a rectangular appliqued ogre mask cartouche. Circa 1st century B.C. Measures about 9"H x 9 1/2" diameter. Above the waist, the vase is decorated with three sets of three raised incised line bands running around the circumference. A mottled olive green glaze accents the upper section of the vase...

Two very unique and richly painted Chinese porcelain hat stands of the late 19th century. Charming scenes of the traditional family relaxing in an open garden setting, the garments are painted in various bright colors against a backdrop of nature. Condition is excellent with no hairlines or chips, just some minor rubbing of the gold trim and very trace fading of the details, yet all details are distinct and complete. Massive Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty (12th/13th century) Henan dark brown/black glazed horizontally ribbed ovoid form stoneware jar with high, wide shoulders narrowing at the base. The thick glaze drips down toward the flat, unglazed base. The rich black/brown glaze, referred to as “temmoku” by the Japanese, is highlighted by a russet colored cylindrical neck and rim. Measures about 13” high x 13 1/2” diameter. Very good overall condition with typical surface scratches to the glaze.
