Antique Chinese pair of porcelain hat stands, glazed with a light orange ground, enamel motifs of various flowers including peony, chrysanthemum, birds, insects, gourd bottles, and other auspicious objects. Each stand is of a hexagonal form with pierced melon shaped areas. The feet are slightly recessed with white underglaze and buff edges.

Chinese pair of monochrome porcelain vases with a speckled raspberry glaze. They are of an elegant, elongated tapering form, the bases of each vase marked with Hongxian red seal. In the year 1916, Yuan Shikai attempted to reinstate monarchy by naming himself the Emperor of China after the Qing Dynasty was overthrown in 1911. Due to extreme backlash, his reign lasted for less than 100 days, ending on March 1916.

Antique Chinese shallow bowl with a horse jumping through waves. The horse has a green book tied to it's back with a red sash over a pink and green blanket. THe rim of the bowl is painted with clouds. The back of the bowl is painted with green and blue waves. It measures 8.25" wide. Circa 1900.

Antique Chinese porcelain plate circa 1900's (Qing Dynasty). The plate is beautifully painted with a sage holding a sprig of bamboo riding a blue celadon. The Sage and fish are accompanied by a gold winged dog. There are three seals. The plate is bordered with three registers. It measures 11.75" wide by 9" tall. The base has four bats, one on each side. The edge of the plate has old fitters from age.

A Chinese polychrome fencai vase portraying a courtly scene of two women and a child set in a courtyard scene with a table and large rock formations. The view is surrounded by Chinese patterns with various auspicious objects often representing fortune or wealth. The neck of the vase contains a view of chrysanthemums and bamboo. Age 18th century. Lovely antique Chinese blue and white porcelain gourd shaped vase with charming design of bats flying in the clouds. Perfect condition. Six character mark on recessed bottom. Xuantong 1909-1912, kaishu mark in regular script. Demonstrates clearly a feature that is often called hollow or fractured, line. The decoration of the piece, iron red bats among clouds is in a distinctly different style as compared to similarly decorated pieces of the previous reign...

An unusual late 19th C Chinese teapot of quatrefoil form applied with a bamboo form spout set opposite a bamboo handle. Decorated around the sides in shades of blue and white enamel with flower heads on mint green scrolling foliage, the flattened cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a leaf form knop. A wonderful item for the collector of Chinese porcelains. Measures: 8" long, 4.25" wide, and 2.5" high.
