This beautiful Paste Ink box was auctioned as one of the "Hatcher Shipwreck Collection" sale in June 1984 in Amsterdam by Christie's. A blue and white bowl, decorated with Bird to the center interior and almost white to exterior, FU mark within double circle to the base. Late Ming period 17th century. Condition with an old chip to foot rim, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter:

Chinese qingbai porcelain bowl, egg shell thin body with pale celadon crackle glaze. The well of the bowl incised with two swimming fish over waves, the edges slightly lobed, the rim left in buff. The exterior body is ribbed down to the short foot, and the base of the foot slightly recessed and left in buff.

A nice and beauty plain white glazed saucer dish. Ming Dynasty 15th-16th century, possibly Chenghua period or later. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 13 cm.

Rare Chinese eggshell thin Dingyao porcelain bowl, the interior molded with relief details of scrolling chrysanthemums and leaves. The sides of the bowl flare widely from the small and shallow foot and the rim left unglazed.

Provenance: historic Noble family in North Berkeley, whose grandparents were missionaries in Korea in the 19th century.

A rare antique Chinese Longquan, celadon glazed charger dating from the Ming Dynasty 15th Century. Thickly molded with a raised edge to the rim flange and a band of recessed petals tapering inward along the cavetto toward a peony flower roundel impressed to the center of the well. The rich olive green glaze covering all surfaces except a cinnamon-burnt firing ring within the recessed base (glaze abraded). The plate has a raised rim with a surrounding comb design...

A pair small Chinese porcelain jars with lids, each decorated with two foo dogs among peony flowers and scrolls in the "wucai" palette with underglaze blue. Bases without glaze. Rare to find a pair with matching lids and with so fresh colors. Including two later reticulated wooden stands. Dimension with lid: 14.3 cm high, on stand: 17.3 cm high. Condition: one cover with glued area and rim chips. One jarlet with minor kiln dust and the other jar with negligible rim fritting...

Chinese porcelain sleeve vase decorated with Qilin, banana trees and other motifs in under glazed cobalt. Qing Dynasty, Shunzhi period. Condition: There are some small potting-fault spots on the body, otherwise in perfect condition. Height: 16-5/8".

A large Chinese celadon glazed dish from Longquan kiln, dated to Ming Dynasty. The dish has some kiln problems including shape distortion, glaze contraction spots, and a black spot. There are age crackles on the glaze. No other flaws beside the above. Diameter: 14-5/8"
