A Chinese jade vase, carved as a lotus leaf with a flower in one corner and a ribbon tying the leaf and its coiled trailing stalk forming the base. The composition is very attractive, the body is quite thinly carved and the stone is of celadon hue. A high quality example of Qing lapidary arts, it measures 14 cm ( 5 1/2 inches) high. It comes with its own custom made wooden base. Age; 19 C. condition: excellent.

19th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Thick Boy Silver Toggle

The entire length is 4 inches (10.1 cm) including the chain. The boy is 1.96 inches (5 cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.1 cm) wide and 22.85 mm thick. It is 57.4 gram.

The boy has flea bite chips and inclusions. The silver is tarnished (as seen in the photos).

Chinese white jade vase carving of Liu Haichan or "Master Sea-Toad", a 10th century Daoist xian immortal, with a string of square-holed coins and his mythical three-legged money toad. Lotus pods, peonies, birds, and waves are carved all around the body of the jade vase. The base is carved wood into reticulated root pattern.

They are popularly associated with happy marriages. He and He are typically depicted as boys holding a lotus flower (荷, hé) and a box (盒, hé）. The mirror is 9.4 inches (24 cm) in length by 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) wide. The plaque is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) by 3.1 inches (8 cm) wide. The belt hook is 4.7 inches (12 cm) in length by 0.8 inch (2.25 cm) wide and 21.94 mm thick. It weighs 290 gram.
