DESCRIPTION: An appealing green nephrite disk or bi, carved with two chilong dragons whose heads and bodies ring the edges with their limbs draping down on either side. From a mid-west collection, the design, color and form are quite pleasing and could be used as a toggle or an eye-catching pendant when incorporated into a necklace. This is a very old possibly antique jade bead

A nice carved curling pig dragon with a bird head terminal to the crest. Hongshan styles have been copied through out different dynasties. It is hard to date this piece, probably early 20th century. Will make a nice pendant. Size: H.5cm, W. 4.5cm.

A small Chinese agate carving of a tiger and her cub set on a wooden stand with motif of bamboo carved along with jagged rocks. The combination of bamboo and tigers in Chinese art can be seen as early as the Ming dynasty. The tiger, often represented as the king of the earth combined with bamboo a symbol of the mind of a literati, can be seen as the ideals of the individual. A pair of Chinese semi precious stone crafted into a small magnolia tree. The tree is planted in a Chinese cloisonne pot. The container's body has a lovely blue background with abstracted lotus design, old gilt on edges. The entire tree is crafted as if an actual plant is planted in the pots.The cloisonne appears to be late 19th century. The semiprecious stones are of a later vintage. Chinese white jade rollicking horse animatedly carved with nostrils flaring and lying on back with hooves up in air. Size: 3 inches long 1.5" high.

Engagement book made by the famous Yamanaka & Co. Inc. in New York. Antique Chinese brocade with dragons in roundels between auspicious symbols and an open-worked white jade plaque, dating from the 19th century, assembled to a diary with mechanical pencil. Condition: edges of the brocade with wear and tears. Dimension: book: 19.3 cm x 15.3 cm, weight: 260 g, jade: 5.8 cm x 5.8 cm.

A well carved Chinese nephrite jade with the natural skin. Hand carved stone of a camel (luotuo) and Calf. Fine detailwork on the tail and sections of the face has been executed on the jade.
