| Charming Japanese carved okimono, made of ivory and ironwood, depicting figure of an old man dressed in the formal attire of a samurai leaning over a lantern; his head and hands are carved of ivory as are various decorative rounds on his hakama (pants) and the mon (family crest) on is robes and lantern, signed on the bottom of one sandal, Showa Period (circa late 1940's). Size: 8" high x 5 1/2" wide x 4" wide. | ||||||||||
