| Beautiful Chinese export coffee table made of dark hardwood and elaborately carved, massive claw feet, large peony blossoms on each corner, heavily carved spandrels: two with vines and gourds motif, and two with swirling leaves centered with an arrangement of citron ("hands of buddha") in a vase, wonderful details through out, Republic Period (late 19th century). Size: 25" high x 32" wide x 32" wide (table top is 27 3/4" wide x 27 3/4" wide). | |||||||||
