Beautiful keyaki wood jizaigake of ebisu shape with very good patina and soot. Piece cut out of the saddle of the tree. Japan, Edo period, ca. mid 19th century. Comes with custom made stand.
Height: 18.5 inches (46.9 cm); width: 17 inches (43.2 cm); depth: 7 inches/13.5 incl. the crossbar (17.75/34.25 cm).
. Some old material cracks and splinters, basically fine condition.
