| A very rare Iki-ningyo mannequin head dating from the later Meiji to Taisho period enclosed in a wooden storage box. Glass eyes, translucent skin and genuine hair, over a carved wooden base, this is a true work of art. The head is life size, roughly 14 inches tall from the base and is in overall fine condition, with some out of place hairs, minor handling marks and some faint discoloration over the left eye. We have been looking for a quality Iki-ningyo head like this for 6 years, and are proud to be able to present this very rare opportunity.
