| A fully three dimensional dragon supports this large four sided flaring vase dating from the later Edo period (19th century). The dragon is surrounded by a belt of crashing waves. The head is removable for storage. There appears to have been something below the neck, possibly a casting spur (see photos). The vase is 14 inches (36 cm) tall, 12 inches (30 cm) wide at the top and in fine condition. | |||||||||||||||
