| A lacquered bamboo vase covered in ro-iro black with an inset band of nashiji decorated with Mother of Pearl plum blossoms and vertical bands of Mother of Pearl lined with gold. The vase is 12 inches (31 cm) tall, 5-1/2 inches (14 cm) diameter and in excellent condition, enclosed in the original wooden box stamped Sanshuken (Shimano Sanshu). A tiny ding near the base is all that could detract from the mirror surface. | |||||||||||
