| Chinese Yixing pottery teapot decorated with prunus flowers. Dates from the Cultural Revolution era (circa 1960's to 1970's). The interior pouring hole has seven small holes which act as a strainer. There are two unreadable seals on the base and under the lid (see enlargements 7 & 8). It measures about 4” high by about 8” long (tip of spout to handle). The lid fits nice and snug and the condition is very good. There is a lot of evidence of use in the interior. This teapot is from the private collection of American expatriates who lived in Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s. | |||||||||||
