| Oversized Japanese “sosaku hanga” woodblock print by Junichiro Sekino (1914-1988) depicting deep snow at Kakegawa dated 1960 from the series “Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road.” The white ink signature of the artist is at the lower right. The artist’s red seal is above the signature. A "Jun Sekino" watermark is in the left margin. The bottom margin contains the title of the image and series (in kanji) followed by a red circular seal. Paper size: 16 5/8"V x 21 1/2"H (image: 12 3/4"V x 18"H). Very good overall condition. The print was never framed. There is some puckering and creasing within the margins. | |||||||||
