Fine quality antique Japanese plique-a-jour cloisonne vase decorated with chrysanthemum flowers set against a celadon green cloud patterned cloison background. Taisho Period (circa 1920). Measures about 3 3/4"H x 3" diameter. Very good overall condition with no stress cracks. There is a small, exceptional quality restoration near the upper rim which is not visible to the eye. The white spots on the vase are from the camera flash. The last three images were taken against bright light so the translucency of the piece could be seen.
