The plate decorated with the Indian Tree pattern in the famille verte palette. The area around the blue enamel exhibits the iridescence that one expects to see on Kangxi famille verte porcelain. Made for export to the West, circa 1700.

8.3/4 inches (22.2cm) diameter. A remarkable survival, the plate is in perfect condition. Two firing faults within the foot-rim, not seen on the front, and a small area on the back where a splash of green enamel has been ground, all contemporary with the manufacture. Please study the photographs.
