A good quality red lacquer inro decorated with a stern eagle looking very interested in his flying meal on the other side, a pair of chidori. The inro is much nicer in the hand than my photographs suggest, the eagle is built up in shallow relief and has some nice black on black detailing on the feathers.

Generally in good condition but with a chip to the top left cord hole and some wear to the bottom edge. All noted in the photographs.

2.1/2 inches ( 6.4 cm ) by 2.3/4 inches ( 7 cm ).
