A TANG DYNASTY WHITE GLAZED BOX, 7th ~ 10th C, BLUETT LABEL.
A very attractive white glazed porcelain box from the Tang dynasty. The box is a very high quality production, crisply made and in fine condition with no degradation of the glaze from burial. The box comes with provenance in the form of a label from the well-known London dealer, Edgar Bluett. Both lid and base have a penciled numeral 02098. 3.1/4 inches ( 8.3 cm ) diameter, 2 inches ( 5 cm ) high. The base has a tiny shallow fleabite on the inner rim. I am based in the United Kingdom so charges made to credit cards are in GBP ( British Pounds ) and your credit card issuer converts the charge to your own currency, that is, the currency of your country. Payment may also be made by direct bank transfer in GBP, or in cash, GBP or US$. International Money Orders or Cashiers’ Checks in GBP are also accepted. |
