| Japanese cast bronze lantern, decorated with two bands of champleve/cloisonne on the base and one band on the top. The bands have designs of chrysanthemums and leaf style of cobalt blue, red, green, pink, white, rust-brown, and black on a light blue ground. The lamp has open work areas with silk covers on the inside to emit light and facilitate cooling. The size is 14-1/2" high and 5-1/2" diameter, and weighs 3.12 lbs. The condition is excellent, but does not include the original old electric components and wiring. If desired, the lamp could be rewired for use. The estimated age is early 20th century, Showa period. | ||||||||||
