| Quality Chinese Export Rose Medallion sugar bowl with two double twisted handles and a lid with a gilt and red crab knob. The top has two reserves, with mandaring figures in one and flowers and bird in the other. The body of the bowl has four reserves with mandarin figures in two and roses, birds, and flowers in the other two. The condition is very good with the exception of a small shallow chip to the top of the rim on the lid and a few very minor losses of enamel on the lid and body. The size is 5" high by 4" diameter and 5-3/4" from handle to handle, and the weight is 1.12 lbs. The age is circa early to mid-1800's, Ching. | |||||||||||||
