| Chinese Export Rose Medallion Garniture Jar/Vase with original top that features a gilt foo lion with a red ball knob. There are two vignettes of children with two gilt dragons & flaming pearl on the neck of the vase. The shoulder is decorated with four floral reserves, separated by gilt florals. The body of the vase has four vignettes with mandarin and floral designs. This is a superb example of an antique rose medallion style of export porcelain. The condition is excellent, with only minimal loss of gilt. The size is 11-1/4" tall by 4-1/2" diameter, and weight is 1.10 lbs. The date is circa early to mid-19th century, Ching. | |||||||||||||
