Antique Japanese “Yogi” bed comforter with a pattern of chrysanthemum and scrolling vine, dyed in Katazome stencil dye with rice paste resist (not wax dye) on cotton. All and all, it is thinner, lighter and smaller than the other yogi that we currently have. Condition is excellent, cleaned (but not washed) after cotton wadding was taken out. One seam was left open when the wadding was taken out. Adding some fresh wadding for the bottom and both ends of sleeves may improve/change the look if this is to be hanged on the wall. Approx. 62" wide x 67" long.
