| Nothing says 'Korean' more than a Gat, a Korean Gentleman's Hat made of Horsehair. Three important criteria for judging a Gat are the sheen, the curvature of the bottom of the brim, and the hat's silhouette. All are just right on this fine and rare Gat. We say 'rare' because most Gat you will see are not genuine antiques made of horsehair, but are imitations constructed of wire mesh. There are many fun ways of displaying this wonderful hat and its silk straps, as suggested in the photos here. 13 inches (33cm) wide x 6 inches (15cm) high. | ||
