| A very lovely and large Satsuma lidded vase; showing the most remarkable details and quality of workmanship. The shi shi dogs have serrated teeth that are realistic, the painting of court figures is done immaculately. A rich profusion of color and design makes this vase a commanding force of display on that large dinning room table or large mantle atop the fireplace. Circa 1880's the condition is remarkable considering the material with only a minor manufacturing crack at the foot of the base which was filled in with period gold is part of the design. It measures 22" high. | |||||||||||||||
