| A beautiful compositional painting of Japanese lacquer art; this box displays a rich deep burgundy color with accents of gold & silver, the subject matter consist of a scroll of Mt. Fuji with a tree and building in the foreground, along with a painted hand held fan with the tassel flowing freely, painted golden birds amid silver waves, etc. This lovely treasure dates to the late Meiji period (1868-1912). Measures 11" long, 2.5" high, and 3.5" wide. This is one of those pieces that actually looks better in person than in the photos. You will not be disappointed. | |||||||||
