| Absolutely stunning and remarkably well cared for, is this visual plethora of scenes of a flowering prune tree and perched bird. The top portion of this Japanese treasure box exhibits a atmospheric scene of a placid lake with a boating scene. All hardware is silver plated and original. This wood and lacquer treasure box dates to the early Meiji period circa 1870's and is dated according to the type ornate locking mechanisms here shown. Size: 7.5" high and 8.5" wide. | |||||||||
