Original woodblock print by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), titled " A Gate at the Stupa of Sanchi", 1932, from the artist's India and Southeast Asia Series. This print has a brush signature in Japanese, as well as the requisite Jizuri seal, signifying that this is a lifetime impression. The design is illustrated at plate 169 of "The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi. The image measures approximately 14 3/4 by 9 3/4 inches, plus full margins.
