Very rare seen full carved softwood Chinese scroll pot or oversize brush pot with one side scene with a scholar traveling with his boy servant, carrying his books; and two monks seating in mountain area, with a pair of magpie resting on the plum blossom branch.
Overall good condition with some old wood cracks, with an old iron clip repair to one of the old crack Diameter: 11 ½ inch x Height 9 ½ inches (26.5 x 24 cm) |
