Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Jarlet - Fo Dog
This small porcelain jar, or jarlet, was made during the 15th - 16th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and has a crackled glaze. It is decorated in underglaze blue with a pattern featuring two Dogs of Fo (or Buddhist lions). Height & diameter approx. 7 cm. There are two chips to the edge of the mouth.
