Chinese Yuan Dynasty Jun Bowl with Gold Lacquer Repair
This "heavily-potted" stoneware Junyao bowl was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is coated in a thick crackled Jun glaze. The colour is predominantly bluish but there is a purple splash inside and another smaller purple splash to the outer surface. Around the rim is a Japanese kintsugi gold lacquer repair.
