Fine Large Thai 15th Century Celadon Stoneware Bowl
This fine large glazed stoneware bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns during the 14th or 15th centuries. It is heavily-potted and coated in a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze. The centre of the bowl is further decorated with an incised spiral/floral pattern surrounded by several incised bands. The underside wall is covered with an attractive pattern of criss-cross incised lines. Diameter 24.75 cm. There is insignificant flaking of the glaze where thinnest on the edge of the rim. No restoration or repair; a lovely example in fine condition. *** TO ORDER THIS ITEM PLEASE EMAIL US QUOTING OUR STOCK NUMBER (see above) - WE SHALL THEN EMAIL YOU BACK WITH POSTAGE COSTS AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS *** *** FOR FULL DETAILS OF OUR GUARANTEE AND PAYMENT OPTIONS, PLEASE CLICK ON "Buying from us - All you need to know" ON OUR HOME PAGE *** |
