Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Porcelain Jar This fine quality blue & white jar was made toward the end of the 15th century and was recovered from the Hoi An wreck. The decoration is painted in cobalt blue with floral and leaf patterns and the glossy glaze is finely crackled. There is a "blister" to the glaze, this caused in manufacture during the firing process. Height 9.25 cm, diameter 9 cm.
