This really is a very interesting book and invaluable for any serious collector of ancient Chinese ceramics. It is essentially a catalogue published in 1981 by the Oriental Ceramic Society of an exhibition lent by the People's Republic of China that was held at the British Museum, London in 1980.

500 shards of pottery, porcelain and stoneware, some being complete items, from kiln sites all over China are illustrated and described in detail. Excellent for identification and dating.

164 printed pages. All 500 shards are illustrated in black and white but many are also included in the 16 colour plates. Dimensions: 30 x 21 cm. Soft cover.

Note: these books are new but the laminated back cover is slightly discoloured purely from having been stored for many years.
