Set 3 Chinese Nesting Lacquer Boxes as Peaches. Qing
An Unusual Set of Three Chinese Nesting Lacquer Boxes in the Form of Peaches. Qing Dynasty

Max. width of largest box 3 1/4 ins. (8.3 cms) Each of the three boxes has traces of a raised floral or leaf design on the lids which has largely worn away with use. The peach is a symbol of Immortality in China. Condition is good with a number of minor chips here and there. Dating is difficult, they are probably 18/19th.century or earlier.
