| DESCRIPTION: A lovely Chinese ivory snuff bottle of rounded spade form, each side carved with a display of “precious objects,” or rare items of beauty generally treasured by their owner. The depiction on this bottle consists primarily of bronze objects carved in raised relief. Dating from the Late Qing to Early Republic (1900 – 1925), it is in very good condition and amply hollowed. One side is darker than the other due to long exposure in a display setting. The lid does fit more snugly than photos show. DIMENSIONS: 3” high (7.6 cm) x 2” wide (5 cm). | ||||||||||||||
