| The size of Tsuba: 2 3/4" L x 2 9/16" W x 3/16" Thick. Very unusual Japanese Iron Tsuba, Sword Guard. Tsuba has carved(engraved) design of double dragon on both side. 1.5 mm deep. It is very unusual dragon design. Dragon body has silver applied and gold applied(inlaid) on the dragon head. One side of inlaid has been worn except dragon head area. Application of silver and gold work can be seen from right side dragon body which has fine mesh work underneath of silver. Condition of Tsuba as seen in photo. Dating from Edo era. | ||||||||||
