A Late Qing Yellow Glazed Cup - Tulip Shape
A lovely little tulip shaped pottery cup with a lemon yellow crackle glaze. We are not positive whether this cup is Chinese or Japanese - however that shade of yellow has tipped us towards Chinese in origin and to the late Qing dynasty in age - circa 1875-1910. It could possibly be quite a bit older.

There are nine impressed vertical lines running down from the evert rim to the base. The cup is glazed all over including the base - the interior and the rim of the base are unglazed. It measures 2 1/2" high and is 2 1/2" diameter at is widest. It is in very good condition with only a couple of tiny chips in the glaze.
