| Qianlong Four-character Mark and of the Period (1735 - 1796) The octagonal monochrome bottle is of pear-shape with a tall straight neck and a small recessed foot. This is a classic and popular shape, especially in the Qianlong period, but also up to the Guangxu period. For similar examples with Qianlong, Xianfeng and Guangxu marks, see 'Elegance and Radiance: Grandeur in Qing Glass in the Andrew K. F.
