Old Chinese Silk Cloud Brocade Purse Qing Dynasty
This double gourd silk purse decorated on both side with bold silk lotus spray on a gold and black Cloud Brocade ground. A bat on top formed a Ruyi for "Fortune as you wish". Eight elaborate yellow silk tassels showing Chinese character "Shou" (longevity) on each of them. Cloud Brocade was very expensive material in Qing Dynasty which was mostly used by the court.

Size: about 6" for body height

Condition: Good condition
