A Celadon JADE BRUSH REST 19th Century
Qing Dynasty (18th - 19th century)

Of celadon jade with some russet inclusion on the back, carved in five smiling boys playing & carrying with lotus and lingzhi. Also Vivid carved with one boy in the middle holding another boy's pigtail. In Chinese mythology, the happy five boys (Wu Zi Deng Ke) is symbolized in happy and good withes for family life. Item comes with a fitted wood stand.

Measurements: Jade itself has 7 inches (17.8 cm) wide, and 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) at the highest point. 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) height with the stand. Condition: Excellent condition. No any damage found.
