An early hand-blown gold impregnated vase of bubble glass by Iwata Itoko enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Aki-uta (Autumn Poem). The imagery in black is like a sumi-e ink painting. It is 10 inches (25.5 cm) tall, dated Showa 40 (1965) on bottom and in excellent condition. A vase of similar composition is held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.
